The Roh lab offers training in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, genomics, epigenomics and physiology,
with the goals to foster all trainees’ skills for research planning, creative and critical thinking and scientific communications.

PhD Student Rotation Projects:
  • Pilot study of candidate regulators of adipocyte identity
  • Small scale epigenomic profiling 
  • Dry-lab bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data
  • Development of unbiased screening systems
  • ​New epigenomic method development
Undergrad & Master Student Projects:
  • Cloning vector plasmid constructs
  • Mouse tissue analysis for phenotype analysis
  • Cell culture & analysis 
  • Bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data
​Postdoc Fellow Projects:
  • Comprehensive physiologic & molecular analysis of our mouse models, and development of new mouse models
  • Epigenomic profiling of adipocytes in a range of physiological and pathological conditions
  • Development of new epigenomic analytic techniques 
  • Identification of therapeutic approaches for metabolic disorder including obesity and diabetes
